Rina Traub, Esq. received her Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University School of Law in 1987 and has spent more than 20 years practicing employment and employee benefits law.
Ms. Traub represents employees in all areas of employment related claims and disputes. She counsels clients on sensitive issues such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, severance pay, employment benefits, employment contracts, unemployment insurance, and wage and hour matters. Ms. Traub also counsels businesses on employment matters, including legal compliance, handbooks, and employer/employee relations.
Early in her legal career, Ms. Traub worked in the New York City office of the international law firm, Proskauer Rose, where she represented clients on complicated employee benefit and executive compensation legal issues. Ms. Traub then served as Assistant General Counsel to a Fortune 500 company, where she handled all human resource legal matters and advised senior executives during a period of extensive corporate restructuring. In 2003, Ms. Traub joined a boutique employment law practice in New Jersey specializing in protecting the rights of employees. Ms. Traub's unique experience representing both employers and employees has made her an effective advocate to address inequities in the workplace.
Ms. Traub is a member of the New Jersey affiliate of the National Employment Lawyers Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association and is a frequent contributor to the New Jersey Employment Lawyer Blog.
